The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with Land Use Bylaw No 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the MD of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 32-25; Lot 49 Blk 47 PL 1510055 within Grassy Lake - Install 16kW AC, 5kW DC roof mount solar array

DP 42-25; NW 19-9-17-W4 - Install 7.6kW AC, 7.6kW DC roof mount solar array

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.


Discretionary Uses:

DP 5-25; SW 31-9-16-W4 - Construct 14,300 sq ft shop addition & 5,400 sq ft washbay

DP 20-25; Lot 10 Blk 1 Plan 0613903 within SW 36-9-17-W4 - Construct 2,400 sq ft ancillary building and 140 sq ft shed

DP 26-25; Lot 3 Blk 1 PL 2111969 within SW 9-9-16-W4- Construct 1,600 sq ft addition on existing shop & change of use to barndominium dwelling

DP 28-25; Lot 32 Blk 23 PL 1010885 within Grassy Lake - Construct 1,092 sq ft addition

DP 29-25; Lot 51 Blk 44 PL 1510055 within Grassy Lake - Construct a fence

DP 38-25; Lot 1 Blk 1 PL 0110081 within SW 18-10-15-W4 - Construct 252 sq ft addition

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:   

 

Permitted Uses:

DP 34-25; Lot 58 Blk 16 PL 0810493 within Hays - Construct 1,130 sq ft dwelling w 420 sq ft attached garage

DP 37-25; SE 12-14-17-W4 - Construct 750 sq ft addition w 330 sq ft deck

Discretionary Uses:

DP 41-25; SE 35-10-17-W4 - Construct 2,400 sq ft multipurpose recreation building

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
